Owner & Lead Instructor

Debbie Kieley

Owner & Lead Instructor

Debbie has been teaching Pilates for over 16 years and completed her comprehensive certification through Body Precision in Radnor, PA. While teaching various group exercise classes at a local wellness center she decided to take a Pilates Mat class. Immediately after class she approached the instructor and requested private lessons with her doing Reformer, Tower, Chair and Matwork since she noticed right away how amazing she felt and wanted to learn more! After a few sessions she enrolled in a training program so she too could offer Joseph Pilates lifetime of work to others.

Since completing her Pilates certification, she has worked with clients of all of abilities and ages.  The best part of teaching clients for her is the connection made with each one on a personal and professional level.  Some of her clients have been training with her since she started over 16 years ago!

She does practice what she preaches, too.  Debbie’s daily workouts include Pilates Mat and Equipment work especially to help with her own back issues and misalignments.  It's the one form of exercise that allows her to move with ease and pain free.

Instructors

Carol Robinson

Instructor

Carol began her career as a fitness professional in 2006. She discovered her life purpose of fitness and wellness after making a commitment to loose the weight postpartum.  After losing 50 lbs., she decided to join the gym.  After her first Mat Pilates class, she knew the body, breath and mind connection was essential to living healthfully.  One year after joining the gym, Carol began her journey as a Mat Pilates and Hatha Yoga Instructor.

In 2012, Carol began her journey as a certified Pilates Reformer Instructor and in 2018, acquired an advanced level certification through the Pilates Education Institute on all apparatus.  During her training, she also studied instruction with 'special populations' and has worked with clients recovering from spinal surgeries, joint replacement and other conditions like arthritis and diastasis recti.

Carol is always excited to share her passion for fitness and wellness through the 6 principles of Pilates, with a specific eye for alignment and helping clients remember and integrate the body, breath and mind connection in their everyday functional life.

Caitlyn Kresky

Instructor

Caitlyn received her Comprehensive Pilates Certification through Balanced Body. She danced professionally for several companies including Pittsburgh Ballet, Columbia Classical Ballet in South Carolina, and Roxey Ballet in New Hope, PA.

She discovered her love for Pilates when she began incorporating it into her ballet training. She values the mind body connection that is gained from the Pilates practice. She notices the beneficial effects Pilates has on the body, strengthening and lengthening muscles as well as coordinating breath and movement. Both Pilates and dance require an attention to detail and emphasize quality, control, and proper alignment.

Caitlyn received Balanced Body Pilates teacher training in Mat, Reformer, and all apparatus through Pilates Core Center in New Jersey where she was then brought on as an instructor. She is excited to bring her background in dance into her classes and private sessions through a thoughtful flow of exercises constructed to fit the needs of every individual.

Dina Smodlaka

Instructor

I have been practicing both for over 18 years and received my certification in Yoga through the ReGeneration Institute of Yoga in South Plainfield, NJ.  I am also certified to teach Pure Comprehensive Classical Pilates Method (Mat, Universal Reformer and other apparatus) – also through The ReGeneration Institute of Pilates (Affiliated with PAI) in South Plainfield, NJ.  I am registered with the National Yoga Alliance and CPR/AED/First Aid/First Responder certified.

I teach mainly Vinyasa Yoga and Pure Classical Pilates, but tailor my classes and private sessions to each individual’s needs, goals and interests to bring them the most satisfying and rewarding class I can offer – one that will keep them interested in their practice and allow them to grow with it.

I believe that everyone can practice Yoga and Pilates, and to that end I have also volunteered my time leading a weekly Yoga therapy program to patients suffering moderate to severe brain injuries at JFK/Hartwyck @ Oak Tree in Edison as well as leading autistic and special needs children in modified yoga sessions at the ARC Kohler School in Mountainside, NJ.
